Domain name questions - solutions

How do I change my personal data?

There is a difference between the invoicing details and the licensee details.

A. Invoicing details

These details determine to whom and where your invoices are sent, which mail address will be used etc.

You can change the name, first name, address, company details, mail address etc.

B. How do I change my invoicing details?

- Go to www.E-ZONE.fr

- Login to your domain manager with your login and password

- Click 'Client info'

- Make the changes

- Click 'Save'

C. Licensee details

These details determine who is the owner of the domain name. They are registered by the registering authorities. The owner of a domain is either a physical or legal (for example a company or organization) person.

D. How do I change my licensee details as a legal person?

If a name of a legal person (company or organization) was entered in the appropriate field, then it cannot be changed, except through a trade of the domain name (change of owner). Costs for the trade will be charged. This also applies for changes to the name and first name of the contactperson of the company or organization.

Address details and phone/fax numbers, however, can be changed without performing a trade:

- Go to www.E-ZONE.fr

- Login into your Account with your mail address and password

- Click 'Domain Manager'

- Under 'Licensee' click 'Change'

- Make the changes

- Click 'Process'

E. How do I change my licensee details as a physical person?

If you did not enter a company or organization name, then the owner is considered to be a physical person. In that case you cannot add a company or organization name, change name and first name of the owner, except through a trade of the domain name (change of owner). Costs for the transfer will be charged.

Address details and phone/fax numbers, however, can be changed without performing a trade (Follow the procedure described above).

Remark: You cannot change the mail address yourself. Please send us a copy of your ID-card by fax and inform us of your new mail address.
